HTC meeting online

Sylvia Thompson’s presentation is online (about half way through the meeting).

Interesting data showing the declining enrollment (lowest since 1998) but ever increasing budget (and number of employees). Most interesting was showing a Charlestown $300k home pays $1300 (ish) to Chariho but a Hopkinton $300k home pays $3300.

  1. An alert to all of Chairho’s taxpayers – DO NOT vote for the man whose name is Dyrzko (mis-spell?) for the school committee. His wife works at RYSE and you will have yet another member of the board who is related to someone working for Chariho (even worse, RYSE), in the Chariho School District. Compounded by the fact that his mother works in the administration building.

  2. Do you mean Raymond Dreczko? If that is whom you are referring to, he’s a candidate for town oouncil in Charlestown, not for school committee.

  5. I apologize for the error in Mr. Dreczko’s (Jr.) placement in his potential candidancy.

I saw the notice in the Chariho Times. Mr. Dreczko has a ‘bond’ (excuse the pun), with the superintendent. His wife played a major role in eliminating an innocent staff member. That sordid type of character trait, in addition to their connection with the administration, is an example of what exists in the district today. How long do we want it to continue?
