Votes

I forgot to mention that the judge ruled that my votes should be recorded but not counted.  That way when its all said and done, and if we are fully reinstated, we can go back and see where those votes could have had an impact.

I guess that will open the door to looking at all the previous motions where my votes was not recorded (because I wasn’t allowed to be there).

  1. For any votes taking while Mr. Felkner was illegally thrown off the School Committee the votes should be null and void. There is no way to calculate the impact of Mr. Felkner’s participation in discussions. So maybe Ms. Eaves wins the chair on a 9 to 1 vote, but with Mr. Felkner participating in the discussion Ms. Carney wins 6 to 5. There is no way to determine if Mr. Felkner’s absence from the School Committee would have changed the results of a vote. All votes and discussions need to be re-done with future votes being recorded as advised by the judge.

  2. Hi!
Where and when will be a web address posted to read the decision? I will try a search of the Rhode Island Judiciary web site.
    Regards,
    Scott
