  4. Hi!
I hope Bill prevails. Regardless of the outcome, clearly the Chariho School establishment and it would appear the other two towns should have handled this better. The big questions is this: Did any town council member from Charlestown or Richmond ever contact a Hopkinton Town Council member other than Bill Felkner about their concerns, if it was a real concern to them? If not why not?
    Regards,
    Scott

  5. Hasn’t this been a dog and pony show from the beginning. I’m disappointed in all the SC Members that didn’t support Mr. Felkner. It is a matter of if their town charters show their elected officials can hold dual posts them its a no brainer. This is clearly against Bill Felkner. Its disgraceful.

Send those contribution no matter how small to Bill at 14 High Street in Ashaway. Its an affront to all of us. Whether you a fan of his or not.

  8. We just got off the phone. We don’t have a final tally on fees. Filing fees are constant but the transcript fee will depend on how much they talk. We estimate the total as of today is about $450 – we have collected $539 so far. We are only looking to cover out of pocket expenses as we fully expect to win and Chariho will cover the legal fees. I don’t know how much if any additional filing fees and transcripts will be. We will learn more tomorrow.

Now I hope your not Mr. Daschle and don’t have taxes out in Hopkinton to the tune of $128,000 (roughly). Move to charlestown please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. All fees/funds Mr. Hirst (comment # 6) are appreciated for this and future filings. The SC is only wasting kids money not Bill felkner who only asked for a fair shake and the law to be applied. I’m glad we have Deb Carney. I miss the level headed Giancarlo Cicchetti.

  11. Hi!
1.I am holding off on my ten dollar donation but I did check with Bill by phone 401-377-9027,. He told me the other night he had enough. He will get the ten bucks, if he needs it.
    2. If the Chariho School Committee loses this case, I “hope” they SERIOUSLY consider whether Jon Anderson should be retained as their legal counsel.
    Regards,
    Scott

  12. Sandy,
While Deb and I are of two political persuasions, she is one of the more capable political figures locally. She makes a good appearance, undeniably capable, experienced in local government and politics, speaks well, appears to do her homework more than most of her colleagues, certainly “strong willed”, and is not afraid to be in the minority in a contentious issue, like the Felkner matter.
    Enough Said!
    Regards,
    Scott

  13. Get your head out, this is about matters of common sense. Ms. Carney is a beacon among the disgraced. This isn’t republican vs democrats. Get over it. Lets think about the kids and not by the administration that wants to screw them for their personal advantage. Do you want your head on Mount Useless wih the reigning ones from Richmond and Charlestown with who have shown their personal pickadillo’s based on what is felt by the communities over the years. We already have a Supt.up their.

You just went down a few pegs with the statement above.

Who is Hopkinton’s head on Mt. Useless.
